1. Electrophysiology Study (EPS)

• Catheters inserted through veins in the groin or neck

• Electrical activity of the heart is mapped

• Identifies location and mechanism of arrhythmia

2. Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)

• Uses energy delivered through catheters to ablate abnormal tissue

• Restores normal rhythm by blocking the arrhythmia pathway

• Typically performed immediately after EPS in the same procedure
